We did that once, because it was the best arrangement for the odd room, and it was the only place to get lamps in.

I LOVE your nursery!! I'm newly pregnant with my fifth (that still sounds crazy!!) and want those drapes. First we have to figure out where the nursery will be first!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00141184380494909194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6928295103267767185.post-2348435348247195442011-02-11T15:33:34.169-08:002011-02-11T15:33:34.169-08:00Hi Pam!

I think it's great behind a sofa, but those chairs would be better on their own, I think. Their backs are lovely!

Have you tried the slipcovered sofa where the chairs are now? Might not work at all, but it would be interesting to know if you've tried it. I can easily imagine those two chairs in front of the window.

You have great style. . . I know you'll pull it all together beautifully!Richella Parhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04353214472648623583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6928295103267767185.post-64384477838161062562011-02-11T06:40:58.697-08:002011-02-11T06:40:58.697-08:00Hi Peggy- thanks for your politely-phrased, constr...Hi Peggy- thanks for your politely-phrased, constructive feedback- I really appreciate it and I quite agree. I love the backs of the chairs and I think I'd rather just see through the chair backs so I think I'll put the library table where the demilune table is now and move the demilune to another blank wall by the kitchen.Pam @ bibbidi-bobbidi-beautifulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665004943835477442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6928295103267767185.post-16473181512973878232011-02-11T06:28:35.150-08:002011-02-11T06:28:35.150-08:00I like change! I have only recently found your blog, so I wasn't tired of the old arrangement yet. :-)

IMO, the library table doesn't work with the open backs of the cute little bamboo chairs.
Too much open space. If you have something more
solid--a chest, a console, something else maybe from another room?--to swap with the library table (which I love, and wish I had one) it would work just a kittke better.
Again, just my opinion.
